DUI Arrest in Weathersfield

CITY, STATE OF RESIDENCE: Mount Holly, Vermont

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:
On this date and time, Vermont State Police received a call from a concerned citizen advising that they observed a male subject drinking heavily and then get behind the wheel of a vehicle.  The concerned citizen advised that the male subject was currently parked at the Windsor Motel, located off U.S. Route 5 in the Town of Weathersfield (Windsor County) Vermont.
Windsor Police Department arrived at the Windsor Motel to discover that the male subject, later identified at 42 year old Job Thornburn, had already left the area.  Windsor Police Department later stopped the vehicle on U.S. Route 5 and waited for Vermont State Police to arrive on scene.

Investigation revealed that Thornburn had been drinking and later registered a 0.144 % B.A.C. on scene.  Thornburn was taken into custody by Vermont State Police and transported to the Westminster Barracks for processing.

Thornburn was later released with a criminal citation and is scheduled to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Windsor Criminal Division on December 6th, 2016 at 0800 hours to answer to the charge of driving under the influence.
