DATE/TIME: November 25th, 2016 at approximately 1948 hours
LOCATION: Vermont Route 103 in the Town of Rockingham
ACCUSED: Samuel J. Perkins
CITY, STATE OF RESIDENCE: Rockingham, Vermont
SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:
On this date and time, Vermont State Police conducted a sobriety check point on Vermont Route 103 in the Town of Rockingham (Windham County) Vermont.
During this time, 38 year old Samuel J. Perkins entered the sobriety check point. Investigation revealed that Perkins had been drinking and he later registered a 0.086 % B.A.C. roadside. Perkins was subsequently arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence and transported back to the Westminster State Police Barracks for processing.
Perkins was later released on a criminal citation and he is scheduled to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Windham Criminal Division, on December 20th, 2016 at 0800 hours to answer to the above charge.
