SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On 11/15/16 at approximately 2135 hours, Vermont State
Police were dispatched to 2851 VT RT 7a, Shaftsbury, for a family disturbance. A
male complainant reported having been assaulted by Anna Realmuto while at her
residence. Investigation revealed an altercation took place between Realmuto and
a man over a photograph on his phone.

As the man was trying to leave Realmuto's residence, she allegedly threw an object at the man, striking him. It was alleged the man was holding a child at the time Realmuto threw the bottle at him. Realmuto allegedly assaulted the the man near his vehicle again, causing injury. The man was finally able to leave the scene once Realmuto went back to her residence.

Realmuto was taken into custody and transported to the Vermont State Police
barracks in Shaftsbury to be processed. Realmuto was later released on
conditions imposed by Court Clerk Wendy Dickie. These conditions included that
she appear in Bennington County Superior Court, Criminal Division.
