SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On 11/25/16 between 1830 and 2200 hours Vermont State Police along with Bennington PD, Winhall PD and Manchester PD conducted a sobriety checkpoint in the town of Sunderland. During the checkpoint a total of 257 vehicles containing 559 occupants were contacted.

The patrol resulted in 1 written warning, 2 motor vehicle tickets and 1 civil marijuana ticket being issued. One arrest for DUI was made as well.
