SUMMARY OF CRASH:

On 11/25/16 at approximately 2329 hours Vermont State Police with Williston Police Department responded to a report of a single vehicle crash on Interstate 89 Southbound.  Investigation found that the single occupant and operator of the vehicle, Samantha Wells, lost control of her vehicle and drove into the median. While speaking with Wells she showed signs of impairment. After performing standard field sobriety exercises Wells provided a sample of her breath with a Preliminary Breath Test result of .196%. Wells was arrested and processed at the Williston State Police barracks. Wells was then cited to appear on 12/15/16 at 0815 in Burlington to answer the charge of her second offense of Driving Under the Influence.
