SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

On 10/27/16 the Vermont State Police stopped a vehicle for speeding on US RT 7 in Glastenbury VT.  The operator initially identified himself as being licensed in North Carolina with a name and date of birth. The operator indicated that he had no license on him or any identification at all. Troopers were able to locate information that contradicted the identification provided.  The operator then provided a NH identification card, identifying himself as Gregory Kent.  Kent was taken into custody for providing false information to police.

It was determined that Kent provided false information due to his license currently being suspended in Vermont.
