CITY, STATE OF RESIDENCE: 3 Royce Street, Rutland City Vermont.

 

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

 

On 10-23-16 Troopers based out of the Rutland State Police Barracks responded to a residential alarm activation that originated from 306 Alpine Drive in Killington.  Upon arrival Troopers observed a red maroon Ford Explorer leaving the area.  Troopers were able to stop and speak with the operator, and obtain a registration number.  After being instructed not to leave, the operator fled the scene leaving at a high rate of speed.  The vehicle traveling towards Rutland City.  Further investigation revealed that the vehicle in question was parked at 5 Royce Street.  Contact was made at the residence and it was discovered that a Coy Hill was inside the residence.  Hill was identified as the operator of the vehicle leaving the area of Alpine Drive.  After a brief standoff Hill was taken into custody.  Hall was heavily intoxicated, which is a violation of his court ordered conditions of release. 

 

Hill was transported to Rutland Regional Medical Center.  Based on the above violations bail was set at $25,000.  Hill was remained in the custody of the Vermont Department of Corrections, and is scheduled to appear in Rutland Criminal Court on 10-24-16 at 1230 hours.
