SUMMARY OF CRASH:

On Thursday, October 27, 2016 at approximately 1535 hours, Troopers from the Vermont State Police-Rutland Barracks responded to a single car crash rollover at 519 Tiffany Road in the Town of Mount Holly, VT.

 

Investigation determined that vehicle #1 was traveling west on Tiffany Road. Tiffany Road is a residential gravel road that primarily runs east and west. Operator #1 (Zeitel) was traveling west on Tiffany Road when the vehicle began to slide due to the inclement weather. Operator #1 then began to travel off the road and attempted to correct the vehicle back on the roadway. Vehicle #1 began to rotate while continuing to slide due to the roadway conditions and rolled approximately two times before coming to rest on its wheels. Vehicle #1 was removed from the ditch and towed due to disabling damage by Carrara’s Towing Recovery.

 

Operator #1 was evaluated on scene by Ludlow Ambulance for a sore neck and elbow. Operator #1 was transported by Ludlow Ambulance to Rutland Regional Medical Center for further medical evaluation.

 

Operator #1 was found to be at fault for the crash and in violation of Title 23 VSA 1081(a), Basic rule and maximum limits.
