SUMMARY OF CRASH:

 

On 10/14/2016, at approximately 0033 hours, VSP Middlesex received a report of a crash on Pony Farm Rd in Moretown, VT. The operator, identified as Andrew Baird, indicated that he was traveling North on Pony Farm Rd when he lost control of the vehicle, causing it to roll over. Subsequent investigation led to Baird's arrest for suspicion of DUI. He was transported to the Middlesex State Police Barracks for processing and released. He is scheduled to appear in Washington Superior Court - Criminal Division on November 3rd, 2016.

 

Baird sustained superficial injuries during the incident. His passenger, a 19 year old female, sustained significant but non-life threatening injuries. She was transported to UVMC. There were no other involved vehicles or passengers. The crash is still under investigation.
