SUMMARY OF CRASH:

 

On 09/09/16 at 1854 hours, the Vermont State police was notified of a single vehicle crash in Waterbury on Keeland Flats near Shaw Mansion Rd. Upon Arrival I identified the operator as Kevin M. Viens Sr. and the passenger as Phillip Humphrey. Investigation revealed that Viens lost control of the vehicle, after exiting a corner, and crashed into a ditch.  Non-incapacitating injuries were sustained by both occupants as a result of the crash. Both occupants were transported to the hospital. The vehicle sustained front end damage and was towed from the scene. Standard field sobriety tests were administered. A preliminary breath test was not obtained. Viens later received a citation, for Suspicion of Driving under the Influence, to appear Washington County Superior Court- Criminal Division on 11/10/2016.
