SUMMARY OF CRASH:

On 10-20-16, at approximately 1712 hours, Troopers from the Vermont State Police Rutland Barracks responded to a single vehicle crash on U.S. Route 7 near the intersection of Hartsboro Road in the Town of Wallingford.  Investigation revealed, Earle was traveling southbound in her 2011 Kia Forte, at a reported speed of 50 miles per hour, when the vehicle directly in front of her came to a stop.  Earle stated she was unable to stop her vehicle prior to colliding with the vehicle, so she steered her vehicle off the west side of the roadway.  After leaving the roadway, Earle's vehicle collided with a telephone guide wire and a lamp post.  The impact with the guide wire and post caused moderate impact damage to the vehicle's front bumper area.  Earle was taken to Rutland Regional Medical Center where she received treatment for her non-life threatening injures.
