SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

 

On Friday, October 28, 2016 at approximately 2047 hours, Troopers from the Vermont State Police-Rutland Barracks were dispatched to a family fight at a residence on Lake Road in Benson. Troopers identified the complainant who had left the residence and was located in her vehicle down the road.


During the investigation, Troopers learned Shawn C. Everall caused bodily injury to a family or household member in the presence of three juvenile witnesses. Everall had left the residence before Troopers arrived, but was subsequently located in West Rutland later in the evening and taken into custody. Everall was transported to the State Police Barracks in Rutland Town for processing and lodged at the Marble Valley Correctional Center for lack of $10,000.00 cash or surety bond for the aforementioned offense.
