SUMMARY OF CRASH:

On October 21, 2016, at approximately 1337 hrs, Vermont State Police responded to a two vehicle crash in front of 862 VT RT 4A W, Castleton, VT.

 

Investigation revealed that Cody Remes was driving east on RT 4A W when he attempted to turn left, however, James Hubbell was approaching from the west. As James proceeded eastbound on RT 4A W, he failed to reduce speed at which time his car collided into the rear end of Cody’s Dodge Dart.   

 

James Hubbell did not report any injury. Cody Remes and his passenger, William Holden, advised of sore backs.

 

A member of the Fair Haven FD who was passing through the area stopped and assisted at the crash scene.

 

Both vehicles were removed by a local tow service.
