SUMMARY OF CRASH:

 

On 10-17-16, at approximately 1827 hours, Troopers from the Vermont State Police Rutland Barracks responded to a single vehicle crash on Hortonville Road in the Town of Mount Holly.  Investigation revealed, Aaron Miller was operating his 2004 Honda Civic eastbound on Hortonville Road at a very high rate of speed.  Due to Miller's speed he was unable to navigate a slight curve in the roadway and subsequently traveled off the south side of the roadway, where he struck a rock and tree.  The collision with the rock and tree caused severe impact damage to Miller's vehicle.  Miller and his juvenile passenger were not reporting any injuries as a result of this crash, however juvenile passenger was transported to Rutland Regional Medical Center for precautionary measures.  Troopers were assisted on scene by members of the Mount Holly Fire Department and Mount Holly Rescue Squad.
