SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

On October 5, 2016 the Vermont State Police attempted to stop a vehicle after observing a traffic violation.  The vehicle failed to stop when signaled to do so on Lovers Lane in Bristol and continued onto Oak Lane.  The vehicle stopped at a residence.  The driver, Andrew Malzac, failed to comply when informed he was under arrest, and resisted.  Malzac was taken into custody and transported to the New Haven Barracks for processing.  Malzac was released on a citation to appear at Addison District Court on November 14, 2016 to answer the charges of attempting to elude and resisting arrest.  Bristol Police assisted with the incident.
