VIOLATION: Burglary / Petit Larceny

               

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

 

On October 3, 2016 at approximately 1:12 pm, the Vermont State Police received a report of a theft on Simpson Brook Road in Townshend.  

 

A member of the State Police responded to the area.  Investigation revealed that on 10/02/2016 sometime between 6:30 pm and 10:30 pm, an unknown person had entered a campsite at a private residence on Simpson Brook Road in Townshend.  The unknown person then entered and searched a tent, stealing prescription medication and a blue folding knife.  According to the complainant, a suspicious male had previously been seen walking in the area.  The suspicious male had been seen three times in the last two weeks walking thought the campsite wearing a camouflage hoodie, with the hoodie pulled up over his head, sunglasses and gloves.
