SUMMARY OF CRASH:

 

On 10/07/2016 at approximately 2:21 pm, a member of the Vermont State Police, Westminster Station, responded to VT RT 103 at the intersection with VT RT 131 in Cavendish for a report of two vehicle crash involving a motorcycle.  Investigation revealed that a motorcycle being driven by Mr. Jon Lienhard, 47 of Belmont, was traveling southbound on VT RT 103.  In the area of the intersection with VT RT 131, Mr. Lienhard attempted to pass stopped and slower traffic, which was waiting to turn left onto to VT RT 131, on the right.  While attempting to pass a vehicle being driven by Ms. Alexandra Natowich, 35 of Chittenden, Mr. Lienhard’s motorcycle collided with Ms. Natowich’s vehicle.  After striking Ms. Natowich’s vehicle, Mr. Lienhard was ejected from the motorcycle as it struck a guardrail.  Both Mr. Lienhard and Ms. Natowich were transported to the Springfield Hospital for evaluation and treatment.
