SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On 10/11/16 at approximately 2200 hours Vermont State Police handled a theft complaint at 279 Laver Road in Arlington. It was reported that a small safe containing a Suboxone prescription had been stolen from the residence. A brief investigation followed by a motor vehicle stop/search revealed that Rusk was in possession of some of the items that were reported to be in the safe. She was issued a citation on scene and released. She is to appear in Bennington court on 12/05/16 to answer to the charge of Petit Larceny.
