SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

On October 29th, 2016 at approximately 2117 hours, Vermont State Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Route 109 in the town of Cambridge after observing a violation of Title 23 Section 1031 (Driving to Right) and Title 23 Section 511 (Manner of display). The operator of the vehicle was identified as Scott. G. Letcher, age 59 of Johnson.

A Motor-Vehicle records check revealed that Letcher’s driver’s license was under suspension (civilly). Furthermore, Letcher was suspected of operating while under the influence of intoxicants. A preliminary breath sample of .117% BAC was recorded. Letcher was transported to the Morristown Police Station where he was processed for DUI. Letcher was lodged at the Northeast Correctional Facility in St. Johnsbury for the offense.
