SUMMARY OF CRASH: On October 8, 2016, at approximately 1:40 P.M. Troopers with the Vermont State Police- Westminster Barracks responded to a single vehicle crash on Higley Hill Road in Marlboro. Upon arrival, it was found that Tammie Laclair, 49, of Wilmington, VT, was travelling east on Higley Hill Road in a 1995, Saturn, sedan. Laclair was unable to negotiate the sharp turn at the intersection with Augur Hole Road. Laclair's vehicle left the roadway and struck a wooden post before coming to rest in the grass island at the intersection. Laclair was not injured, and reported she was wearing her seatbelt at the time of the crash. Laclair was issued a Vermont Civil Violation Complaint (traffic ticket) as a result of the crash. Members of the Marlboro Fire Department assisted at the scene. Scott Brooks Towing removed the vehicle.
