Derby leaving crash scene - attempting to locate truck

VIOLATION: Leaving the scene of an accident

 

UPDATED PRESS RELEASE – INFORMATION NEEDED:

VSP-Derby Troopers are requesting information about the motor vehicle crash that occurred on Main St in Derby across from the Village Store on Monday.

Troopers are looking for an older model white pickup truck, short cab, long bed, possibly a utility bed in the style of a work truck.  The truck is expected to have damage to the front right fender area, and possibly the length of the right side, as well as scraping and scuffing to the front right wheel and tire.

The truck struck a parked vehicle while travelling south on Main St at 9:45 PM on Monday the 17th, did not stop, and continued on to Rte 105 in the direction of Hinman Settler Rd.
