SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

                On 10/15/2016, at approximately 2225 hours, the Vermont State Police, responded to a report of a car on fire at the intersection of Vermont Route 30 and E. Hill Road, in the Town of Townshend. The Townshend fire department responded and assisted with putting out the fire. There was no occupants inside of the vehicle at the time of the fire. Investigation revealed that the vehicle had been parked on the side of the road since 10/13/2016.

                Anyone with information on how the fire was started or any suspicious activity in regards to the vehicle or the fire is asked to call the Westminster State Police Barracks at 802-722-4600.
