SUMMARY OF CRASH: On October 4, 2016, at approximately 5:31 PM, the Vermont State Police responded near the junction of Vermont Route 103 and Greven Road, in the town of Cavendish, for a report of a single vehicle crash. The operator, Hali Bailey explained that she was adjusting the radio volume when the vehicle in front of her rapidly slowed down. Bailey stated that she then swerved into the break down lane to avoid a collision. This caused her to lose control of her vehicle and spin out into a culvert on the side of Vermont Route 103. Bailey was transported to Springfield Hospital for minor injuries related to the crash.
