CITY, STATE OF RESIDENCE: Rutland, Vermont

 

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On October 3, 2016, at approximately 8:07 PM, the Vermont Sate Police conducted a traffic stop on Vermont Route 103, in the Town of Rockingham. During the investigation it was determined that the operator, Kristi Sawyer, was under the influence of alcohol. Sawyer consented to perform a preliminary breathe test, which indicated her BAC to be 0.101%. Sawyer was arrested for suspicion of DUI and transported to the Westminster State Police barracks for processing. Sawyer was issued a criminal citation for DUI and ordered to appear in Windham County Superior Criminal Court on October 18, 2016 prior to being released.
