SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:
On September 3, 2016, at approximately 17:00 hours, Shaftsbury Troopers responded to Klondike Road, in the town of Stamford (VT) to assist Vermont State Game Wardens in investigating an incident involving ATV/ UTV usage on a public highway.
Upon arrival, Troopers identified an operator of one of the involved UTV’s as Jesse A. Latulipe, age 31, of Torrington (CT).
Further investigation led Troopers to suspect Latulipe was operating under the influence of alcohol.  After completion of the Standard Field Sobriety Tests, Latulipe was taken into custody for suspicion of DUI.   Latulipe provided a roadside breath sample, indicating his BAC was .122 %.  
Latulipe was subsequently processed at the Shaftsbury Barracks for DUI.  At the conclusion of processing, Latulipe was later released with a citation ordering him to appear in the Bennington County Superior Court/ Criminal Division on October 17, 2016, at 08:15 hours. 
Latulipe is also facing additional criminal charges as a result of the Warden’s investigation.
