SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On 08/31/16 at approximately 1755 hours Vermont State
Police responded to a theft complaint at 5969 Sandgate Road in Sandgate. It was
reported that two horses were stolen from the property sometime in the last 24
hours. They were reported as two large black work horses. After a brief
investigation it appears that someone had removed/stolen the horses from the
property with a truck and trailer. Evidence left at the scene is still being
investigated. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Trooper Stange of
