SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

On 11 Sept 2016 at approximately 1800 hours, VSP St. Albans Troopers were on patrol in the County of Franklin. A Trooper came across an operator, Travis Cruz (25 years old of St. Albans, VT), traveling at an excess of 94 mph in a 50 mph Zone on Route 104 in the town of Fairfax, VT. 

The combined teamwork and effort of VSP St. Albans and St. Albans Police Department ultimately captured the operator. St. Albans Police Department placed Cruz into custody for a new evolving incident. VSP issued a citation to appear in Franklin County Criminal Court on September 22, 2016 at 1300 hours for the charges of excessive speed and Negligent operation. Cruz was lodged at Northwestern Correctional Center on a Probation Violation by St. Albans PD.
