SUMMARY OF CRASH:

On 09/19/16 at approximately 1759 hours the State Police along with Windham County Sheriff’s Department, DMV and fire and rescue responded to a single vehicle crash on Interstate 91 north bound at mile marker 15.4, in the town of Dummerston.  Investigation revealed that the operator, Robert Worthington age 66 of Montgomery Center, was traveling north bound when he drifted into the center median. Worthington attempted to correct the vehicle, causing it to roll over multiple times and then roll down the embankment on the right side of the roadway. Worthington and one passenger, Erik Worthington age 13, were transported to Brattleboro Memorial Hospital with serious injuries, while the other passenger, Teancom Worthington age 11, was air lifted to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center.  Rod’s Towing removed the vehicle from the scene. Investigation into the cause of the crash is still ongoing.
