SUMMARY OF CRASH:

 

On September 9, 2016 at approximately 1432 hours member of the Vermont State Police-Rutland Barracks, Danby Fire Department, Tinmouth Fire Department and Regional Ambulance Service responded to a single ATV incident on a trail off of Tinmouth Pond Road in the Town of Tinmouth.

 

Preliminary investigation revealed that the ATV was traveling on a trail off of Tinmouth Pond Road, the operator was attempting to cross a brook. While operator #1 was attempting to cross a small bridge the ATV overturned into the brook. The ATV pinned the operator underneath the water.

 

Operator #1 was identified as Clifford G. Bushee. Operator #1 was pronounced deceased at the scene. The Vermont State Police are continuing to investigate this incident. Anyone with information is asked to contact Trooper Jonathan Hall, at 802-773-9101.
