CITY, STATE OF RESIDENCE: Rutland, Vermont

 

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On August 26th, 2016 at approximately 1532 hours, the Vermont State Police were notified of a retail theft at Hannaford’s Supermarket located on US Route 7 South in the Town of Rutland, Vermont. Upon arrival investigation revealed Thomas Conte (33) left the store with numerous items in a book bag without paying for the property. On September 6th, 2016 during an unrelated incident, Conte was issued a citation for Retail Theft and ordered to appear at the Vermont Superior Court Criminal Division at 0830 hours on October 24th, 2016.
