SUMMARY OF CRASH: On September 26, 2016 at approximately 1458 hours VSP Williston

Troopers responded to the report of a one vehicle rollover crash on I89 in

Colchester at MM93 NB. Investigation revealed that operator#1 Gammal had been

behind another vehicle and lost control after the vehicle in front of him slowed for

a 55 mph construction zone. Gammal's car traveled off the east  side of the road where

it rolled one complete rotation coming to rest on its tires. Impairment was not a factor

in this collision. Gammal will be mailed a traffic ticket  pursuant to Title 23 VSA Section

1039 Following too closely $220 and 5 points as this was a collision. Vermont State Police

continue to remind motorists  not to follow too closely or tailgate on I89. Troopers were

assisted at the scene by Colchester Rescue, Colchester Fire as well as two investigators

from VT DMV Enforcement.
