SUMMARY OF CRASH: On 09/26/2016 at approximately 1500 hours, Vermont State
Police responded to a two vehicle crash on VT Route 15 in Walden, VT. Barbara
Kittredge-Russell, 69, of Woodbury, VT was traveling westbound when she crossed
the centerline and struck a vehicle, traveling eastbound, driven by Karen
Remington, 47, of Cornish, ME. Kittredge-Russell was transported to Copley
Hospital in Morrisville. Remington went to NVRH in St. Johnsbury for
precautions. Both vehicles were towed from the scene due to damages. The cause
of the crash is still under investigation and may have been caused by a
mechanical problem in the driver's side wheel of Kittredge-Russell's vehicle.
Both operators were wearing their seatbelts.
