SUMMARY OF CRASH: On September 17, 2016 at approximately 10:00 A.M. Troopers with the Vermont State Police- Westminster Barracks, responded to a two vehicle crash with no reported injuries on Henwood Hill Road in the town of Westminster. Upon arrival, it was confirmed there were no injuries and both operators and their respective passengers refused medical transport after being seen by Walpole Ambulance members. After investigation, and statements by the operators of both vehicles, it was learned that a black, 2007, Mazda sedan driven by Troy Thibodeau, 24 of Bellows Falls was travelling north on Henwood Hill Road, and rounding a sharp left turn. A white, 2016, Chevrolet sedan operated by Laura Dupuis, 30, of Bellows Falls was travelling south on Henwood Hill Road and observed Thibodeau's vehicle travelling towards her as she approached the corner. Thibodeau was travelling in a manner which would prevent a vehicle passing in the opposite direction on the gravel road. Dupuis did not have enough room to pass by Thibodeau and as a result their two vehicles collided in a head-on manner. Thibodeau was issued a Vermont Civil Violation Complaint (ticket) for failing to drive to the right.
