SUMMARY OF CRASH:

On September 1, 2016 at approximately 11:27 AM Vermont State Police responded to Rt. 7 near Wildwood Way in Charlotte for a report of a construction zone flagger that had been hit by a car. It was determined John Reya, 33, of Middlebury had been sideswiped by a passing vehicle while directing traffic in the construction zone. Reya sustained minor cuts and abrasions, but was not transported to the hospital. Reya is an employee of Kubricky Construction based out of Wilton, NY.

This case is still under investigation.
