CITY, STATE OF RESIDENCE: Wells, VT

 

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

 

On September 1, 2016 the Vermont State Police responded to a burglary complaint at 237 Furnace Street in the Town of Poultney, Vermont. Investigation revealed an unknown person(s) attempted entry into the Antique Shop between 8:00pm and 11:00am on the evening of August 31 into September 1, 2016.  The individual(s) responsible were unsuccessful gaining entry, however did cause damage to the building in their attempt.  This investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Vermont State Police.
