DATE / Time: September 11, 2016 / 1100 hrs.

 

Fire Investigators from the Vermont State Police, as well as from the Vermont Division of Fire Safety, have been investigating the origin and cause of the fire that occurred to the covered bridge in Cornwall/Salisbury. To date, that investigation is continuing.

 

It is asked if anyone in the public who may have been in the vicinity of the bridge on Saturday, September 10, 2016, around 2:15 in the afternoon, to contact Detective Sergeant Sutton at the Rutland State Police barracks (802) 773-9101 or the Vermont Arson Tip Award Program (VATAP) at 1-800-32-ARSON.
