SUMMARY OF CRASH:

On 9/28/16 at approximately 3:58pm Vermont State Police, the Underhill-Jericho Fire Department, and Essex Rescue responded to a one vehicle crash in the area of VT RT 117 in Jericho. No injuries were reported and vehicle #1 had to be towed from the scene due to damage and not being inspected. Subsequent investigation found the primary cause of this crash was that Operator #1 failed to maintain a proper lane of travel. A contributing factor in this crash was that Operator #1 fell asleep at the wheel.
