SUMMARY OF CRASH:

 

On the above date and time, Vermont State Police responded to the area of Marble Street near the intersection of Water Street in West Rutland for a report of a hit and run crash.

 

Upon arriving on scene, it was determined that Operator #1, unknown identity/vehicle, had left the scene of the crash. It was found that Operator #2, Cody Cole, age 24, of Castleton, VT, had parked his motorcycle, a white 2012 Honda CBR 1000 RR, in a pull off in the area of the West Rutland Marsh. It was determined that while Cole was taking a walk in this area, he heard a crash and returned to find the motorcycle had been struck, and a vehicle (no description available) fleeing the scene.

 

The crash remains under investigation at this time.
