VSP Press Release: False Information to Police on August 23, 2016 in Topsham, Vermont.

AGE: 20

CITY, STATE OF RESIDENCE: Littleton, New Hampshire

 

 

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On the evening of 08-23-16 State Police received a call about an excavator that had been moved without the owner’s permission on US Route 302 in the town of Topsham, Vermont. Troopers responded to the area and found Joshua Overton(20) walking on the side of the road. Overton was questioned about the excavator and he denied involvement. Overton had been drinking and lied to Troopers several times about his date of birth. He was arrested and processed for providing False Information to Police. He was transported to NERCF to be detoxed.
