LOCATION: Pond Hill Ranch in the town of Poultney, Vermont

VICTIM: William "Cole" Wohle

AGE: 18

CITY, STATE OF RESIDENCE: Francestown, New Hampshire

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: The Vermont State Police (VSP), along with the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner (OCME),are conducting a joint investigation into the untimely death of William "Cole" Wohle, age 18, following his death on the evening of July 30, 2016. Prior to Wohle's death, he was attending a rodeo at Pond Hill Ranch in the town of Poultney, Vermont, when he collapsed at about 8:35 PM. On site Poultney Rescue Squad members attended to Wohle who was subsequently transported to the Rutland Regional Medical Center (RRMC). Wohle
was pronounced dead at RRMC at 9:58 PM. The initial indicators revealed Wohle's death was medical in nature. Wohle underwent an autopsy at the OCME with the final diagnosis pending. No further information is being released at this time. End of report.
