UPDATE #1//ADDITIONAL CLOSURES IN DUXBURY RE: STEVENS BROOK ROAD IN DUXBURY HAS WASHED OUT & IS CLOSED

Update # 1 the Duxbury Road Foreman has advised of some additional roads in the town that have been closed (in addition to the Stevens Brook Road)

for culvert failure/washouts:

 

 

Dowsville Road

 

Welch Road

 

Turner Hill Road

 

 

****OF NOTE – There may be other roads in the area with damage that have not yet been reported to the State Police – so motorists should use caution when driving this morning

Good Morning,

 

Duxbury Town Highway is advising that the Stevens Brook Road from the Duxbury/Moretown town line down to VT RT 100 is closed due to a washout.  Only local traffic will be allowed through.  People traveling in that area will need to seek alternative routes.  There is currently no time estimates on repairs but when more information is available it will be provided.
