SUMMARY OF CRASH:

 

Troopers from the New Haven Barracks along with Patrolman from Middlebury Police

Department responded to a two vehicle crash on Middle Rd in the Town of

Salisbury, VT.  Upon arrival, it was determined that a black, Pontiac, Grand Am operated by Dean Whitney had collided with a tan, Chevrolet, Tahoe, operated by Ashley Marsh.  Preliminary investigation indicates Whitney traveled left of center striking the Tahoe driven by Marsh in her lane of travel. Marsh attempted to avoid the collision by driving into the adjacent field, however, could not avoid being struck by Whitney along with Marsh and all three of her passengers were transported to Porter Hospital for treatment.

 

The cause of this crash remains under investigation.

 

 

COURT ACTION: Pending investigation.
