SUMMARY OF CRASH:  On 08/03/16 at approximately 1027 hours Operator#1 pulled into Wayne’s Auto on Main Street in Londonderry.  After parking for a short time, Operator#1 drove V1 into the driver’s side door of V2 which was parked on the east side of Wayne’s Auto.  Passersby checked on Operator#1 who appeared to be intoxicated.  Operator#1 backed his vehicle up, and then drove behind Wayne’s Auto to turn around. Wayne’s Auto personnel attempted to block him from leaving, however Operator#1 drove between two trucks and got back onto VT11.  One of the passersby at Wayne’s Auto followed Vehicle#1 west on VT11 until it pulled into the parking lot of the Bromley Market in Peru.  Operator#1 got out of his vehicle, urinated in the parking lot, fell down striking his head, and then attempted to get back into his vehicle.  The passerby who’d followed him prevented Operator#1 from getting into his vehicle until Winhall police officers and State Police arrived.  Operator#1 was found to be extremely intoxicated.  He was transported to the Springfield Hospital by Stratton Mountain Rescue for treatment of the minor abrasions to his face.  After he was released, he was taken into custody and transported to the Westminster Barracks where he was processed for DUI and Leaving the Scene of a Property Damage Crash.  Operator#1 was cited to appear in Windham Superior Court-Criminal Division on 08/23/16 to face those charges.
