SUMMARY OF CRASH: On 08/30/16, at approximately 1953 hours, members of the Vermont State Police, responded to a single vehicle crash into the Irving Gas Station building on VT Route 30, in the Town of Dummerston. Upon arrival, Troopers learned the operator of the Jeep Grand Cherokee fled the scene on foot and was last seen traveling south on VT Route 30. Witnesses at the scene described the operator as a white skinny male, approximately 6’ 1” tall. The male was wearing a tank top, jeans, with no facial hair and shaved head. The male was also described to have tattoos on both arms. State police is requesting anyone with information about the operator involved in this crash to contact Trooper Roel Diaz at the Westminster Barracks.
