VIOLATION: DUI

 

ACCUSED: Thomas James Jeffery Moore

AGE: 21

CITY, STATE OF RESIDENCE: Whitehall, NY

 

 

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

 

On August 7, 2016 at 1546 hours, The Vermont State Police received several calls regarding a vehicle driving erratically through Rutland City. The vehicle was reported to have struck another vehicle and left the scene. It was also reported that the vehicle was driving on the curb. Troopers made contact with the vehicle on U.S. Rt. 4 in Ira. The driver was identified as Thomas James Jeffery Moore, 21 of Whitehall, NY.

 

Moore displayed signs of drug impairment and was screened for DUI. He was taken into custody and transported to the Vermont State Police Barracks in Rutland Town. He was processed for DUI and later released to a sober party. He was issued a citation to appear August 22nd, 2016 at 8:30 am at Vermont Superior Court Criminal Division.
