SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

 

On August 1st 2016 at approximately 2007 hours troopers from the Vermont State Police Rutland Barracks responded to a Retail Theft at Hannaford Supermarkets located at 318 South Main Street in Rutland Town. Upon arrival investigation revealed Adam T. Gecha (20) left the store with numerous items in his cart without paying for the property. Gecha was later located at an address in Rutland City. Several of the stolen items were recovered and returned to Hannaford Supermarket. Gecha was issued a citation for Retail Theft and ordered to appear at the Vermont Superior Court Criminal Division at 0830 hours on September 26, 2016.
