SUMMARY OF CRASH:
On August 20, 2016 at approximately 12:52pm Vermont State Police received a call from a motorist reporting a group of motorcycles operating erratically on I-89. The motorcycles were reported to be traveling at excessive speeds while weaving in and out of traffic.

Before State Police could respond to the area a second call came in reporting two of the motorcycles involved in the initial report had crashed on 189 Westbound.

Nicholas LaPierre, 22, of Burlington has been charged with Negligent Operation. Circumstances surrounding the crash are still under investigation.
