DESCRIPTION OF VEHICLE: 2000 Subaru Legacy

DAMAGE TO VEHICLE: Substantial damage to the passenger side front quarter panel, the entire passenger side of the vehicle and both passenger side tires and rims.

SUMMARY OF CRASH: On 08/28/16 at approximately 0743 hours, VSP Westminster received a report of a single vehicle crash on Route 30 in Dummerston. Troopers responded to the scene. During the investigation into this crash, it was determined that at approximately 0430 hours, Miramontes was traveling northbound on Route 30 in Dummerston just north of the Maple Valley Ski Area at approximately 50-55 miles per hour. As Miramontes continued northbound into a sweeping curve to the left, she momentarily took her eyes off the roadway to look down at the radio to see what time it was. Miramontes reported that when she glanced back to the roadway, she was hitting the guardrail. Miramontes advised that she did not have cell signal and walked home after the crash.  Miramontes was not injured in this crash. The vehicle was towed from the scene by A’s Towing.
