SUMMARY OF CRASH:

 

On 08/15/2016 at approximately 0600 hours, VSP Westminster received a report of a single vehicle crash on Hickory Ridge Road in Putney.

 

Upon the arrival of Troopers it was determined that Jude Mischke was traveling eastbound on Hickory Ridge Road in Putney. Mischke reported to Troopers that the crash occurred the night before (08/14/2016) around 1900 hours. Mischke reported that as he traveled east, he took his eyes off the roadway for a second to light a cigarette. Mischke reported that when he looked back up, he realized that he was going off the roadway. Mischke reported that he attempted to regain control but was unable to do so and went off the roadway and crashed into a tree. Mischke’s vehicle was towed from the scene by Rod’s Towing. Putney Fire Department assisted at the scene.
