CITY, STATE OF RESIDENCE:Northfield, VT and Buzzards Bay, MA

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: State Police were running stationary radar on I89SB near MM38 in Brookfield. A  south bound 2014 black Kia Sorrento passed by the location at 99mph in a 65mph zone. State Police then paced the Kia at several points between MM38 and MM23 at speeds up to 103mph. State Police than stopped the Kia near MM23 in Royalton, VT. During the stop, State Police identified the operator as Luke Gadbois. Gadbois admitted to reaching a speed of 110mph while traveling south on I89. State Police determined that there were 5 passengers in the vehicle and that the occupants were headed to Six Flags for the day. Gadbois was cited, at roadside(no photo), into Windsor Superior Court to appear on September 27, 2016 for Excessive Speed.
